Recently I had a conundrum of what is the purpose of studying: is it relationships or is it the knowledge you attain? Relationships is a network you create during your years of studies and that's what you have later. Classes that help to get information are important for a person in order to educate him/her about the subject he/she chooses to dig in.
Perhaps, none of the above. If there is no use of the information you gain; if there is not anything you can change about the way you interact with people or with the knowledge you gained, there is no point in education at all. Education is to bring an understanding of how the world works and it is for us that would help to change the wrongness of the old system and our own mindset. Perhaps.
