Reflections from Intaglio Printmaking course

 

First work: Metropolitan City Dynamics. 5 Stages

It is so good to learn from the fellow artists and be challenged by Rembrandt's nth stages. Evenings of birds, acid, turkeys walking in the parking lot, soda ash, vinegar mixture, soya...lots of paper towels and not so white blotting cotton towels, clothing pins, tarlatan, copper and plexi plates, conversations and laughter sometimes out of craziness of the work load and exhaustion or just enjoyment.

The Studio

Studio - a place where all of our Sunday nights were spent and where Tyler climbed through the window if it was closed. Also, a place on which roof strangers walked late (very late) at night.
